  1. Whizz the head of the cauliflower in a food processor alternatively use a cheese grater over a bowl leaving just the stalk
  2. Place the grated cauliflower 'rice' into a pot with a tight fitted lid and add one cup of warm water
  3. With the lid on allow to steam for 5 minutes
  4. Remove from heat and transfer the rice to a muslin cloth or a very thin clean tea towel
  5. Give a good squeeze to remove any excess water
  6. Place the rice in a bowl and stir in the egg & oregano until you have a dough like mixture
  7. Spread the mixture on a lined baking tray or a pizza base tray
  8. Bake for 15 minutes or until slightly golden
Recipe Notes

Variations

  • Top your pizza base with any ingredients you like
  • A good quality (watch out for added sugar) tomato sauce or tomato puree
  • Then sprinkle with rocket & goats cheese or spinach and leftover cooked chicken meat
